Her lessons are always engaging because of how thoughtfully she designs each lesson to build on one another; it's clear she's knowledgeable not just about French but about the process of language-learning as well. I love that she provides articles, podcasts, and other media for us to converse about, while also incorporating techniques and lessons to help build grammar. I always look forward to those classes for how fun they are and how much I learn!

«I took lessons with Camille for about a year as a part of an independent study in French. At the beginning, my speaking and listening comprehension skills were not very advanced due to a lack of opportunity to practice with someone else. Camille conducted the lessons in French, but was incredibly patient and allowed me to make mistakes without feeling judged or unmotivated. The lessons were relaxed and personal; Camille was very flexible with the flow of the lessons and made learning French fun rather than feel like work. The google docs that accompanied the lessons allowed me to go back and revise the vocabulary, grammar, and other information in an organized manner.
After a couple months of lessons, I had decided that I wanted to study in France, so I needed to pass the DELF/DALF exam. Camille reworked our lessons in order to help me prepare for the DALF C1 exam. Work for the exam was not as fun, but Camille made sure to point out where I was improving, and that really helped me push through the “language plateau.”

Elle ne corrige pas seulement les erreurs mais souligne aussi les choses qui ont été faites correctement, ce qui permet de consolider les choses qui ne sont peut-être pas encore sûres.

Being a conscientious teacher, Camille is well prepared for the class. She is patient and easy-going, so it is always a pleasure to take her lessons. During the class, we do a lot of conversation practice and she consolidates my French with some teaching strategies of FLE. After class, she sets me some homework to do, including the listening comprehension, writing exercises and the use of grammar. Learning French is not that easy, so it is important to have some guidance of a good teacher. Camille is definitely a reliable companion in your French learning journey!

Chère Camille, je suis absolument contente de t'avoir choisi. J' ai beaucoup apprécié les cours avec toi. Quand on aime faire quelque chose, tout va plus facilement et on en profite encore plus. Les différents sujets dont nous avions parlé étaient tous intéressants. J'ai aimé faire les devoirs. À part de la conversation, lire, écrire et écouter le français m'ont aidé à enrichir mon vocabulaire et améliorer la langue. La manière dont tu corriges les fautes est très agréable. Je n'avais jamais eu peur de parler ou écrire. Je n'avais même pas honte ayant encore et encore oublié de prononcer le "p" dans ma profession (si-co-log... ). Les semaines de cours étaient relativement intenses et ça m'est arrivé en ces temps dans une conversation allemande que seulement le mot français est apparu dans ma tête. Merci beaucoup pour tout!!!
